Plus1 borrowed mine when he went to LAX a couple of weeks ago. He liked them but said they aren't that much better than his Sony's. Yeah, whatever :rolleyes:

I have a set of creative's in ear kind, that I like better than any bose I've ear used. I have a cheap $10 woot deal RCA noise canceling set that are good for the price.

Baglady has the Bose. They are really nice, but the thought of losing them pains me.

I had a cheap set of Song over the ear noise canceling - they worked OK, but went through batteries like crazy. I broke them and am looking for a replacement. I can't find anything other than the Bose that uses a recharger rather than AAAs.

I don't like earbuds and noise canceling is a must on RJs.

I actually went with the QC2s because they didn't have a (proprietary) rechargeable battery - like the QC3s. They take a single AAA battery and I find that it lasts for 25-30 hours. I keep a few extra AAAs in the case so I always have a replacement if the battery dies. With the QC3s, you're stuck either buying a 2nd rechargeable battery or going without the headphones if the battery dies in flight.

Just my 2 cents...

DEN-IAH-EWR-FRA in April was 405 w/ tax. It's super cheap right now. Any word on (L) fares qualifying for the 2x elite miles?
