It was nothing special, but easy on the bus line from the airport and at thhe end of the beach, out of the way. There is beach right across the street, just bast the *bux downstairs and free WiFi in the lobby and on the pool deck. I'd repeat that in a heartbeat, should I ever find myself with a reason to return to HNL.
