It is truth in may of the places. I have actually seen a TV sticking out of a 'suitcase' that had been cut to give way for the back of the tube to stick out. I doubt it made it intact!

AM wants to take my unused gates away at my little arctic hublette. I could like lose money and reposition some planes but i dont think i can come up with enough use for 4 gates at that airport. I just got them so i could fly through there as a connection.

If it takes away my unused gates do i lose my ability to fly-through at that airport?

no, you still have it hubbed, you can hub up with 4 and get rid of 3 till you are needing again.
