Thanks.

Real.

My comment in the Memorial Day thread is reflective of stereotypes only. No offense, sfogate. :D

How long of a delay would one bump create, just out of curiousity?

On Saturday, we would be talking hours (PHL isn't exactly a SkyTeam haven). That's why I said a bump wouldn't be acceptable - Sunday's a different story.

That's right. The locals don't even go to Pat's or Geno's. They go to hole-in-the-wall places and leave those two establishments to tourists or those who don't know any better. Tony Lukes or Jim's on South Street are the way to go. If you want, try Dalessandros in Roxborough (neighborhood of the city).

Dear Germans,

Please stop calling me. Today is a holiday. We don't get many of them on this side of the world, so please respect it.

Thank you,

glad to hear it, because some of those didn't look to appetizing. I know CM has PRETTY good taste in food, we don't agree on everything but ;) I figured he'd not throw me into a whiz only place.

Many of the places in PHL have cultural nuance (in addition to the food).

My family's (student) tour guide at Penn directed us to Ishkabibble's, on South St...I'm no connoisseur of these things, but it was good.

You like the South Street Tony Luke's better than Oregon Ave.? Good to know, because sbm12 and I weren't terribly impressed with Oregon Ave.

PHL is Star country, definitely. Even moreso after CO moves. The PHL gate change thread was dealing with that earlier.

I liked Pat's. The homeless guy that used to live in the basement of Pat's that would hang out with the patrons was hilarious. Don't know if he's still there. I do at some point want to try Geno's, because I support Joey Vento emotionally. I never did eat on South Street, so that might be the way to go.

I'll eat wherever the car goes Saturday ^

I think one of the three I put up is still available. Yes, the 210 is slower, but it's cheaper and I don't need the range. Also, with the shorthauls, a bunch of time is eaten up by the turn around time, which is identical between the -200 and -210s.

It is 24 real hours for the turboprops. It can be 48 or 72 for larger aircrafts. Which is why you should buy mine if you want it immediately. :D

No offense taken. I don't get The Bay Area and their hate for all things military. Who do they think will defend them? Former hippies? For the record I think Berkeley is totally wacky.

I think CM and I might get arrested for a counter-"protest" ...

For those who are watching the NASCAR rain delay, throwing a caution flag during the middle of the race to stop and shut down the cars at precisely 3 p.m. Eastern is one of the things that's right in the world.
