It was great to meet you, too, along with the explanation for the '3' in your handle!

I learned some things about this as well, from some others that thought it meant something like a lucky number.
Nope...just E mirrored is like a 3.

That's what I thought, as 3 is one of my 'lucky' numbers!^;)

I definitely figured that you were a 'Stephen' -- but also had a 'passing' thought that is was for 'stephanie' unless I read more of your posts!!:D

Well, now the birds are tweeting -- not sure if I'm really going to get more sleep before the sun starts rising. May need to plan to get a nap in, later in the day.:o:rolleyes:;)

My issues are that -- while it was a relief to get the CFP over with -- the other  stuff in my life have come to the surface!:eek::rolleyes:

Added to that is the very busy weekend I had -- w/much consumption of food & beverages starting on friday night & continuing through the mini-DO!^:D
So, my body has just been a bit jet-lagged.:rolleyes:

It was a very light night and no weirdos or issues. Just a plain boring night at work. ^

In case anyone is around SFO for the next two nights, sorry but I'll miss you as I have Tuesday and Wednesday off butI'll be back to work on Thursday.

That was a great sign. I felt like an a$$ for not noticing it.

Well, it is official. I am out of a job. My position was eliminated. Along with at least 3 others at my station. I'll let it sink in for a day, then start the search. Thanks for the well wishes. I didn't even have an appetite for dinner. I DVRd Conan, but don't have any inclination to watch any tv. Former co-workers on FB have been supportive.

Good night.

Sorry this had to happen to you. Rent Mr. Mom for giggles.

The idiot couple from last night (the ones that didn't like a certain person on their flight) didn't get any better seats than 7B and 22B on their flight this morning. ^

Hmmm... and I thought there was just a slight chance you were a Tom Lehrer fan...

I take it this was a connecting flight ... so they doubly screwed themselves. Idiots!

Morning, Box.

Hope my FT luggage tags get delivered in time for this weekends trip to FCO.

Morning Box.

Anybody have any wisdom and experiences to share about Provence? Nice/Cannes/St Tropez/Monte Carlo?

Most reviews I find online are so  Of course the bed is small and the staff is only marginally attentive-- it's France! Sorting about legitimate gripes from people who expect it to be like staying at Disney's Beach Club and walking to Epcot's French pavilion is impossible.

Missed movie reference. BTW, on that note, who that did not see it are planning on seeing My Blue Heaven?

I honestly didn't think there was anyone left in the world who hadn't seen that movie. True comedic brilliance.

It's not tipping I believe in; its over-tipping!

Chester A. Arthur. He used to be collector of customs right here in New York City.

As for the Box and booze, I don't think we are a "beer crowd" necessarily. I actually posted this in the mini-do thread at one point. We're connoisseurs of the finer alcohols in life. Sure, many of us went to Belgium to have beer for MLK day in January, but that was not just about the beer (maybe 90% ;)). And it was REALLY good beer. But then, set down at Olton Hall's place, Babu's place or the restaurant the orders shifted. Some had beer, some had strange mixed drinks involving sake or plum wine and one guy tried to convince me that some crazy shot actually tasted good (no, I'm never going to let go of that one ). We covered the gamut pretty well there.

The key is that we are enablers for each other, firm believers in the "mas es mas" philosophy of life. That, and .
