Bora Bora Hilton...I wonder if Bora Bora is Boring Boring. Would love to say I've been there but if there's no golf, it's a hard sell.

A little is a big understatement.

I read enough nonfiction that I'm willing to willfully suspend disbelief every so often. My B&N want list expanded to 17 titles today, thanks in large part to sfogate. She has some awesome choices in nonfiction.

As long as that channel shows "Goodfellas" once a week.

That could be arranged. ^

At considerable risk for flaming, I didn't like Goodfellas. I didn't like Pileggi's book either.

Great human beings though I consider you both to be, yes. I'd be willing to give both Goodfellas and Casino another chance, but I was not really a fan of either.

I didn't LOVE Goodfellas either. It was a B/B+ for me, but it certainly did not suck - and that's the name of the channel.

How about The Professional as the kick off film?

I was underwhelmed with Casino when I first saw it, but it has grown on me. It would make the cut as well.

And "Ocean's Eleven" (the Rat Pack original).

icurhere2 Jul 22, 2009 10:04 pm

"Cool Hand Luke" also a requirement.

I could always watch that one again.

"Run Silent, Run Deep"

My donations to the Movies That Don't Suck would include:

Red Corner, Black Hawk Down, Lethal Weapon 1 & 2, Young Guns, Collateral, the Aristocrats, The Insider, Grosse Pointe Blank, Backdraft, Apollo 13, The Hunt for Red October...just to name a few.
