I did EWR-PHL last weekend as the final segment of a MR - it's 81 (I mean 500...err, 1000 :D) miles on the books, but due to the route we took - going NORTH, looping around to the west, and zig-zagging through most of eastern PA - it sure was a lot longer in terms of actual flown miles! It was in a Dash 8...livable, I guess, for that length of time...

and then last night I was looking for some EWR-CLE options for going home in late June, checked the "search nearby airports," and found that I could, in fact, go LGA-PIT for $96 (pre-tax) r/t - wow! Obviously, PIT is too far away to be feasible, but MORE noteworthy is that most of those flights were ALSO IN A DASH 8. 331 miles. You've got to be kidding me...

The ATR42's are very good.

They only hold 50 pax. The 72s or the BAe are a better bet IMHO.

I think I've finally walked through Old Navy for the last time. I've come to the realization that I'm not 14 years old and 1:rolleyes:5 pounds. However, my dog did enjoy the open bag of dog food on the low shelf in PetSmart.:D

aircraft, aircraft search, and put in specifications(free search is pretty blah, tons of results you have to feed over)

look at speed, turn time, capacity, AND fuel burn, and of course range.

rkkwan, are the ATR's still going up for sale today?

Yes, I'm starting to phase them out right now. Hopefully all three will be up in within the hour.

Isn't that the truth! I only thing I buy at Old Navy are underwear for my son. He loves their boxer shorts.

The last time I took the Devil Dog into PetSmart was for her puppy class. Atleast I can say she didn't pee on their floor, as she reserves that for the living room carpet.

very nice, I have a perfect base for them. I wil have an all prop base at some point :D

I am surprised to see you using the ATR72-210 model, it is substantially slower than the 200.

xyzzy,

HOW do you get from EU to Oz, with the planes you have?! That is one freaky route map. And max 7 hours....you must be having a concord, but I don't see such!

I don't want to go to a place using cheesewiz however ;) (one of the 'famous' places secret cheese is just that liquid can cheese, yuck!)

Whiz is an option everywhere, it's not compulsory. I'm a provolone guy, personally.

Indeed, but as noted, it's an option. I know a guy who pays extra to have two layers of meat and whiz crammed into one roll. That's just nasty.

I was mentioning last night that Saturday VDBs were out of question due to lunch and pre-game.

How long of a delay would one bump create, just out of curiousity?

I like -42's for right now. But I'm not as motivated in this world as I was the last one. I have planes that are sitting without routes on them. :(

The "aircraft market, deals on aircraft sales" menu is where used aircraft are offered for sale, correct?

On the secondary market, yes.

When you order an aircraft, is it delivered in 24 real hours or 24 AM hours?

All times are GMT -6. The time now is 9:44 am.
