Hey, I was enjoying reading what everyone had for dinner the night before!

I was actually somewhat surprised about people getting upset that we took an off topic thread even further off topic. Such is life, I suppose.

Back out in the Meat Packing District "office" again this afternoon, enjoying some sunshine and scenery while sending out bills for last month and waiting for my two newest planes to arrive in AM. Good times.

CM has a job. I might have lost one. I received a call from the HR manager on my voice mail on my work cell phone and my home voice mail. I called back and she wanted me to come in. I told her I could, but I would have to bring my 7 month old w/ me. That wouldn't work with her. So, I am supposed to come in on Wednesday when my shift starts.

I have a REAL strong feeling I am losing my job, because I spoke w/ a co-worker and he told me the person who was hired before me was laid-off this morning. I would have been the first, but... I am off on Mondays and Tuesdays - now all 7 days.:( I had a feeling, but didn't want to expound on it, otherwise I would have been depressed.

Thanks. A friend suggested I look at HISD for a teacher position. Right now, this 7 month old is keeping a smile on my face. We were just going to interview a new nanny this afternoon, since our current nanny is going to work full time elsewhere. Now, we won't need a nanny... at least for the immediate future.:(

I didn't realize that we were on a "one in, on out" policy here in the land of the employed. :( Very sorry to hear about this. Good luck in the search, should that become necessary.

I work for a school district and I'll say that we are hiring teaching assistants.
