That's good to know. I'm glad to see that the union is, in reality, led by someone who can handle themselves in a professional manner.

It is possible that Sharepoint is the biggest load of  I have ever worked with. The entire administrative side of it is an absolute mess!

It's a piece of junk. It amazes me that large organizations think it manages documents and information well... If anything, it makes documents and text harder to find.

My FUMD80 stickers arrived in the mail :D

No kidding - even Documentum is better than this garbage.

I think I may have found a MS product that is worse than Windows... :p

There are bits of sharepoint that I actually think are useful. Document management isn't one of them, but I've had some decent success in making a portal out of it. The admin piece is crap, but it has some use.

I had to manage SPS back in 2003 - that also coincides with the year I left technology administration.

Fair point - I should have mentioned that we are using this for document management and not for setting up a portal site. The admin piece is just so far from being intuitive it's not even funny.

On top of all of this, the training slides and videos that MS provides are a complete joke and a major waste of time.

Sharepoint is not a bad portal, but it is awful to administer. I am currently evaluating Alfresco (www.alfresco.com) and frankly I am impressed with what I have seen so far.

We use it for both doc mgmt and a portal. I can't stand the POS.

Sharepoint sucks. It is 2nd to exchange, in total absolute suckage. :D (this coming from me who some of you think is MR MS mistakenly)

:eek::eek::eek:

I'm surprised to hear that from our resident MS fanboy...

:D

I think CO is trying to tell me something.

It just issued me a very amusing PNR that starts with AS$ and then the number 2...

Okay. Okay. I'll stop complaining about unprofessionalism of Colgan crews. No need to insult me.:eek::D

That's nice. Maybe as Chairman of whatever he is, he could show some power and keep his people off FT.

So that isn't Capt Pierce posting? If Pierce agrees that the OP should not be harassing customers about their negotiations, then I will certainly change my opinion of the guy. :)

Pierce's handle on FT is MECCHAIR.

Combative? Whoever writes that EWR newsletter probably freelanced for the Black Panthers press office. That newsletter is all hyperbole and personal attacks, which last time I looked is a great way to approach the hand that feeds. I don't care how bad the pilot group perceives themselves as getting screwed over, they are failing to play by the golden rule: "Them who has the gold makes the rules." Deal with it, and work on improving your public image.

Meh. Not sold. Until Capt. Pierce can come on here and post without getting flamed and fit in without drawing attention to himself or his cause, I'm going to start wearing a FUDP bracelet. "F**K You, Don't Post."

Borgata loooooved Sharepoint. Their take on it was impossible to find stuff on, and even tougher to edit something that had fallen out of date. There are management platforms designed solely for concierge desks, GoConcierge.com being the best among them.

baglady's husband. My limited Sharepoint experience tells me that the only it shares well is agita.

So I can fly either CPH-BGO-AES or CPH-OSL-FDE-BGO-AES. The latter leaves an hour earlier and has a shorter layover in BGO, but it is still 3+ hours.

What are the odds I can get away with booking that and not have my wife kill me??
