I'm living car free at the moment. Am curious to see what passes for "premium" from my local (city, not Airport-based) National rental counter for this weekend, as I haven't rented from them in weeks. I'm in no hurry to get a car. New digs are less than 3mi from Downtown, and convenient to the light-rail line.
Only small car I like at the moment is the older-model Honda Fit. The new one is a bit too bubble-car for my tastes. I might just pick up a low-mileage used one if I see one that's a good deal. |
I just realized that I booked an oil change for 35 minutes ago. :o
I'm burning my last vestige of having worked in Atlantic City tonight - $100 Ruth's Chris GC from the GM. |
Perhaps this semi-obscure car model repair business is more lucrative than I had thought. There must be a niche market for Yugo or Proton repair in Teh Pit.

If that's not a vote of confidence against Saab dealers...and dealers and their  pricing in general.

I guess if I'm not packed and I have to pick the fiancee up at 5:00 I should get moving.

Nope, using the company car and them paying for the Gas is the way to go.

I must apologize, I meant absolutely no offense when I made a reference to Energy Air, I was aware that he went inactive, it was merely meant to point out that I knew you were moving into TPA, not as a criticism, my apologize if it came off as anything else.

"Continental had to replace all the overhead bins from the 73E at the Do because people climbing in them exceeded the weight spec of the bins." "A CO pilots was given a month off for allowing a jumpseater in the cockpit so that's why they are upset that we were in the cockpit at the Do flights." --The additional details on this one include that the paperwork was not correctly filed for the guy up front so that certainly had something to do with it. "FAs have been fired for climbing into overhead bins." "Furloughed pilots are now being denied travel benefits so us in the jumpseat was inappropriate." "Me swigging from the bottle in the exit row was inappropriate." -OK...he might be right on this one. ;) Honestly, I appreciate his frustration with being a 757 FO who is now on furlough but there is a difference between rational and reasonable discussions with management and fighting with customers. |

I searched for a long time for another base as to not jump on anyone too much, warped air is just having a base at every airport, so I decided I could coexist with warped air, but others I was trying to stay away from, like I went to Montreal instead of Toronto because someone(ssullivan?) beat me there ^
