Westin La Paloma in Tucson is $99/night at the moment. It's usually $450+ in December. I wonder why so cheap in August...

Anyone know if it's possible to combine a Gift Cert. with Travel Bank funds in the same purchase on CO.com?

Sounds like the perfect question for Alex. :-:

You Asked: Is it possible to combine a gift certificate with travel bank funds?

Alex: You may use an electronic travel certificate along with another form of payment to pay for your reservation. You can enter this information on the Payment Information page when you book your ticket.

This isn't entirely unacceptable - if it's anything like the summer camp I remember there's (non-powered) water sports, fire, repelling, grilling, rifle range, and alcohol.

That just means you can pay with credit or cash after applying the cert, I don't think you can combine Travel bank with certs.

US Mint + HH Surpass Card = Diamond Status?

Just got of the phone with AME:-: to turn one of my two (?) SPG cards into a surpass card. Thinking I can cram 40k through it over the next few months assuming the mint decides not to puke  all over the deal.

Anyone here qualify for HH Diamond via the spend route on the surpass?

I don't have that particular AmEx but would be Hilton Diamond if I did.

It was actually the hypno-toad in the AMS thread that got that clause put in, I think.
