Things have gotten more  in the death of MJ. Last night a BMW w/ Texas plates was towed from MJ's house. Well, the license plate comes back to a doctor here in Houston. Of course the locel news agencies are going gah-gah over it. More  I am sick and tired of the news about MJ, the pedophile.
I find it very sad that the death of Farrah Fawcett has essentially been ignored. She fought her cancer w/ courage and out in the open. While I understand the OTT (over-the-top) coverage on MJ, it is just TOO much. |

A side note about EWR this morning. Granted we got there after the big morning rush but that place runs really well when Jeff and Larry are in town.

Haven't posted for a while. Some updates from me:
1. I left my job at UCLA this week for some alleged undisclosed health issues. ;). Will be relaxing and taking it easy for now. Will decide whether to stay here in LA or move back to Houston later. 2. From what I was watching on TV, huge crowd outside the UCLA Reagan Medical Center yesterday. That's the same hospital I had my surgery last Dec and 5 minutes walk from my old work place. I just missed it, I guess. 3. Flew AA for the first time in 18 years 2 weeks ago LAX-BOS on its 763. Came back from JFK on a DL ex-TWA 752 with AVOD. Good, as we circumvented JFK for over an hour on the ground. [Watched Marley & Me, which is the most pointless movie ever made.] 4. Haven't gone to AM for a while. Haven't decided if I still want to spend all the time there. 5. When and if the retrojet makes it to LAX, you know I will take pictures of it. |

If that's what it takes, perhaps one of them should relocate.

Who is Newtonian Airways on AMv2?
The answer is important, without an answer I get fierce with their undercutting.....on a smaller gauge aircraft that doesn't need undercutting, they could price over me and make more money. I see that you have moved into TPA, Energy Air's home airport, I am small and unable to purchase 50 MD90s at a pop, please have mercy on me. Thank you. Dan |

It's a Saab . The price would be similar if not for the check engine light. Apparently that has a few things causing it and it's tacking on a few  to make it :(:(

I have a Saab. It has had some really  problems over the last year or so, like stalling and failing to start. The problem was not fixed by replacing the fuel pump, nor was it completely fixed after the second $600 repair. I had to argue with the dealer to get them to fix the real cause after the failed second attempt without charging me another $600. Now the check engine light is on, but nothing seems to be wrong.

Ahh, the Saab breaking down again, dude you have been talking about buying a new car for some time now, maybe now is a good time. I have seen some fairly decent deals as of late, even in Palm Beach where the dealers are still fat and happy (even in this economy).

I had a check engine light come on due to loose gas cap, which I thought was very odd at the time. Turns out it's relatively common. |
