We weren't that sloppy, at least not until ALCO wandered off at the end of the night. Other than that it was actually pretty tame I think. My friend who joined us hasn't called me to say she'll never talk to me again, so it can't have been that bad. ;)

So can someone explain this?

Going to LAS this Friday with Mrs. RO1, on a cheap fare and on the same PRN. The Mrs is plat because of me. She tells me she received an e-mail informing her that she received an UG at the 5 day run. So I look at my BB and ......nothing!!! I look at seat counter and see that there are at least 4 seats left that are open. I cannot understand how she gets an UG yet I don't. She says with a smile that her first name comes before mine. So I figure I am going to have to wait for my UG. Later I go on line to CO.com to check on my comfy coach seat :o and voila, we are sitting together up front ^. Never was notified either.

So, does CO send out just one e-mail per PRN, and sent it to her only? What happened to my upgrade notification? Is this a glitch that I should report?

(BTW, on an 800, so no TV. I don't get many chances to see what the new TV system is like since I'm a Kenjet sort of guy )

The Toyota dealership just called to let me know the Prius we want is finally in. Going to pick it up this afternoon, along with the down payment on the SPG Amex :p

I'm guessing it is a glitch of some sort.

The DC DO seemed to be a resounding success. Many thanks to everyone for coming down.

It wouldn't be a true DO without ALCO disappearing at the end of the night.

I kept getting lost on the staircases of the Brickskellar. After looping down one and back up the other for a while, I finally found my way outside. By then, I figured it was probably time to walk around the block to the Hotel and go to bed.

G'Morning, Box. Photo shoot with the NYTimes this morning for my article about being a travel junkie. :sool:

I'm going to be forced to buy a copy of the NYT. Can't think of a better reason to do so, however. ^^

That's awesome. My weapon of choice would be the end of a very long fishing rod. Whips nicely onto the back of a victim's neck when overt stupidity is involved.

Nah. Relatively tame by ALCO standards. We were miles away from the End of More.

Thank you for hosting and being the tour guide. I will definitely be coming down more often.

Knowing our luck it would cost us $5 each (printed on a Sunday).

Yeah, but that $5 is an extremely wise investment if you think about it. I'll cut out sbm12's page and have a several-hundred page headstart on the accumulation of winter-season fireplace material.

Now I'm talking Gordon Ramsey, the Channel 4 version, flustered guest on Jay Leno and not the chanked up for NBC version. It seems some of you need thicker skin. Just image it's a toned down boot camp.

If I went to a boot camp that would be one thing, but in a place of business there is no need for that. ;)

I can take criticism as well as dish it out, but calling women 'fat #$@%$# cow' and others many other things, is just beyond the acceptable point, when that has ZERO to do with their cooking, and isn't even true in any regard.

Photos of you Seth or your photos?

Us boxers each buying a copy may make a noticeable impact on their sales too!

Maybe we can double their normal daily distribution, of 20 :)

He has equally derogatory statements for men; and the show can't be a hostile workplace, as the individuals most likely aren't employees in the technical sense.
