How long does it take BD rewards to ticket?

It can take quite a while. They are notorious for failing to ticket rewards that go into the so-called queue for long periods. If mine haven't ticketed in 48 hours, I simply call and insist that they ticket them ASAP, by telling them that I need to obtain a visa for the destination country, and cannot do so without a fully ticketed reservation. It always seems to do the trick. They had everything ticketed within two hours of my call this morning.

It is especially important to do this with rewards involving SQ. SQ will simply drop segments that don't ticket within a set time-frame.

Ahh life is good.

Just got my domestic tickets for IST as well. SEA-ATL-JFK-MAD-IST-MAD-BOS-JFK-MSP-SEA for the weekend after the *DO.

Makes sense.

Anyone know how to book the USO DMZ tour in Korea? I assume I just have to call during their business hours, right?

Yes. Just call the number listed on the Tours part of the website.

Hmmm...doesn't look like it is offered the day I am there (Sunday 31 Aug). Bummer.

Now I need to find something else to do in town for 16 hours.

Very cool. I want to ride on the EAA Ford TriMotor when I get a chance. One of the last ones in service except the one at the Grand Canyon I believe. I do have a Lockhead 12 (smaller versions of Amelia Earharts plane). Continental Flew these at one time although the one I flew I believe was owned by Philips Petreoleum.

Lockhead 12

Dunno. The feature runs every Tuesday so either tomorrow, next Tuesday or the week after I suppose. She said that she'd give me a head's up when it is scheduled to go.
Photos of me and of my various bag tags and menus. Sadly not the best collection but it is what I've got.

Very Cool. I will have to keep an eye out for it here.

There is one other outfit offering DMZ Tours. I don't recall their name, though.

This mod is not going to be able to do the *A 'Do due to lack of funding prior to deadline. :(

Well, you could walk the walk and come say hello! You must be flying "the other carrier." :D The BART was averted. No sympathy for that union and their work rules in this economy from the general public.

It pays not to burn one's bridges. I might get a job with a limo company (not neccesarily driving) that I used to refer in Atlantic City...the owner either had never heard or forgotten that I'd been laid off.
