Thanks everyone! It was nice to have the job fairy finally hit me. I start Thursday morning. Probably off next weekend, then I'll be working odd hours, but at least I will be working.

Congratulations. What type of job did you get?

Despite what the Weather Channel's website suggests, it's raining buckets here ...

So far, dinner looks like it will be salmon and a baked potato. Don't know what else, but there has to be something else.

Ice cream? :D:p

A little bit of a lactose problem for proper "ice cream".

I did eat two small potato chips earlier today. Yes, I decided I was going to eat precisely two.

Now it is time for me to get all dressed up for work pictures

Doing that tomorrow in the festing pit of NJ so I can have a decent LinkedIn photo. Of course I'll be wearing shorts that won't show up in the photo.

Just made myself a Montreal-rubbed steak sandwich with small potato rounds on the side. Really good stuff. ^

Did I mention it's hot and humid here?

I have never been happier to be scheduled to play golf on a day that has a 40% chance of rain. I'm playing on Thursday and would absolutely love to be interrupted by a shower.

At least we're not festering.;)

I'm going to add a salad to dinner. In other words, dinner was prepared backwards (potato, salmon, salad in a bit).

Good morning from Sydney. Australia is an great country - I need to find a job with a company that will move us here for a few years!

The A380 and SQ's service in general (even in Y) were both very nice! SIN is a very cool airport as well - my new favorite.

One more day in SYD and then we fly SYD-SIN-BKK-HKT to lay on the beach and a massage table for a week. We've had an awesome time so far, but we are also ready to lay around and just relax!

You should go to the cholate bar Max something , it is on George street.

ETA: I spent the night at SIN airport when i first got there 10 days ago, there is so much to do and I did not want to pay for a hotel for a few hours, I walked the entire thing at like 430 am before the trains were operating between terminals while lounge hopping.

Steve GadFly is right...the Mythbusters chick is really hot, especially if she wears nice tight babydoll shirts.
