Hmm, don't move into my neighborhood. Locusts might be next.

You forgot the ants. :D

Funny you should stop by. While lounge whoring and waiting for flights at DCA I though about you everytime I passed the Dunkin Donuts.

You can find Dunkin Donuts at Ala Moana Shopping Center Food Court, in Honolulu. Or atleast it was there the last time I was.

Downtown DC. Way too easy. The main clues are:
  1. Countdown on the crosswalk
  2. "UNIT" label on the street sign
  3. The bus stop sign in the background
And, for those curious, that guy appears much cleaner and coherent than the guy ALCO was debating with.

Morning, Box. Did anyone happen to get a pic of the homeless guy ALCO was conversing with? IIRC he was barefoot and picking dead skin off his feet.

CM I think that you have to narrow it down to which homeless guy he was debating with. I don't have photos though. We will just have to wait to the next DO.

I can only image what ALCO would be like at London's Hyde Park Speakers Corner on a Sunday.

lad to see the Houston Chronicle is on top of the local airline business. They are reporting today that CO is going to *A on Oct. 27. I find it interesting that it has taken them this long to annouce this as we heard about it early last week but I guess they are going on the official announcement that is based on PR.

I only go to CMH on MRs.

Not much to see there unless you are involved in state government or OSU. Speaking of OSU, I will be getting down there quite frequently since I will be dropping the youngest there next month to start school. I will become an empty nester after 26 years.

DO I smell a London coming? That would be fun!

This sounds like you're getting the Family Truckster of National Lampoon's Vacation movie. Was Eugene Levy your salesman? :p

It was Don McGill Toyota off of I-10 West (between Kirkwood and Dairy Ashford).

We ended up getting somewhat of a deal, but it took far too long to get to that point.

The car we expected to get had things that were built into the price while the one that showed up at the lot was a slightly lower model with "features" and "packages".

I then pointed out that these features and packages were standard on the one I was expecting and figuring in TT&L would give me a cheaper car than what they were giving me for the lower end one.

They finally conceded, knocking off the features and such that would have come with the higher model.

The better half did not take the experience well because she doesn't like being BSed. I on the other hand, enjoy making people walk into their lies and look like fools, so I had fun. The aggravating part was showing up expecting something and seeing something completely different.

P.S. - Congratulations on the job photog72!

I was thinking of the guy that I had to separate him from just after we walked past the White House. When we were walking down Pennsylvania Avenue and all of a sudden realized that he wasn't with us.

What car did you end up buying?

My last purchase wasn't too bad, at Russell and Smith Honda on 610 south. Requested a quote online, got a very good initial offer, went in, did a test drive, they knocked off some more off the price, and we were done. Only hassle was with the finance guy. I had already arranged financing and was walking in with a check from the bank. This guy was ticked I wasn't applying for financing with them, and then printed a contract with a bunch of extra garbage, totalling $2,500 on it. I told him to take it off. He argued. I told him I'd walk out. He grumbled, reprinted the contract, and we were done.

A week later I get a customer satisfaction survey call from Honda. I gave them a perfect score on everything but the finance department. A week after that I had a phone call from the dealership management wanting to know what the problem had been. I explained once again, and they ended up sending me some coupons for free oil changes and stuff.
