I doubt anyone has really bought from such name, looks to have only sold one item, it is probably just the official name that brings down the hammer.

Just pages added. As far as I know, they do not do anything while you wait unless it is an extreme emergency (i.e., death of a relative abroad or other major crisis). You drop off the paperwork, pay the processing and expediting fees, and are given a ticket to pick up the passport at Will Call. They may be able to have it ready by 1:30 or so, but you will still have to wait in the Will Call line (which does not have a take-a-number system) to pick it up.

Hmmm...My understanding is no more fees for extra pages now so I'm not sure what to expect. I guess I'll find out in a couple weeks.

A couple of weeks ago I posted about my new computer being full of issues that appeared to be more driver and software related than anything. But, due to work, and busy weekends, I wasn't able to really sit down and fix it until yesterday. A week ago I did spend a Sunday running all of the diagnostic tests on the hardware, and everything passed, so yesterday I moved all my files off the new machine back to the old one, reformatted the drive, reinstalled Windows, and then went one driver at a time. Then I found it — not the sound card driver itself, but the extra Creative bloatware that went with it. That was the problem. Took that back off the computer, and it has been running without a glitch nearly 24 hours nonstop now. Before I went to bed I declared victory, and set up the multi-hour transfer of all my files back to the new computer from the old one.

Best part of all — I never had to call tech support.

Creative bloatware has been a problem since they released LIVE! series....what 8 years ago now?
At those times I saw it take a dual pentium 3 1.4ghz from dell, down to feeling like a 486 again.

That's one reason I avoid all Creative stuff nowadays.

I do too for the most part these days, the onboard sound has improved greatly since then, and for the large majority of users is perfectly fine now.

You have to pay a fee for expediting the process which is dependent on how soon you need the passport returned to you. I think my total bill was about $60.

I got an Audigy card for my desktop simply for the firewire port to transfer video from the video camera. If firewire was standard on PC's I would have been happy with onboard video.

I wonder what modern HD based cameras use? :-:

I really like the new AF lounge concept, but, their food offering are somewhat simple.

Speaking of lounges, anybody know what lounge MH uses at TPE (there are in T-1) and if it is any good?

I have firewire on all my new PCs that aren't slimmed down.
