Do you think I should just say bugger it and buy a new laptop?

Mine is about 4 years old and is getting really cranky. Maybe I should just get a new one?

Even if you do buy a new one, you should still remove the worm from the original.

Agreed!

kooface isn't one that is particularly hard to remove, just dangerous for it to be installed, get the free version of malwarebytes on the url:
http://www.malwarebytes.org/

You may want to do it(download from site) on a usb stick from another computer and take it and install from USB.
your 4 year old laptop probably has more power than many of the netbooks on the market today.
I have a 3.5 year old HP that is a dual core 1.7Ghz Centrino laptop.....it blows every netbook away.

My offer from before to remote in and assist you still stands. Things are slow at the help desk this afternoon (though I did renegotiate my contract with the guy so at least I'll be paid more to mostly do nothing) so I can log in now to work on it if you want.

Heh I just went to get coffee at a place called hot coffee girls. Apparently their schtick is women in bikinis making the coffee there.

Win.

It's like Seattle was built just for you. :)

Hilarious sir.

I'm a huge fan of the BTS. They keep track of everything. Makes tracking down strange aviation trends so much easier.

It is? I was there in Oct and it was no longer there. As far I know, all the Dunks in Honolulu went away. There used to be one by the Surf Rider, sadly it is now a Burger King.

Russell & Smith were very friendly and polite, but just wouldn't deal at all and their internet quote was well above what other Houston dealers were offering. I guess that the Cash for Clunkers program has given dealers the sense that they are in a better negotiating position than a potential buyer.

This is the dealer that I would deal with. I've heard only good things about them. I would buy from their Subaru dealership next door as well. I even know a salesman I would deal with there.^

Colpuck, do you know if the DL or NW lounge is open in SEA? The Skyclub website suggests it is because they have opperating hours but when I was there last in May they were closed?

Booked the 4P@MDW for the fiancee's mother's surprise 60th trip to Chicago. They are flying WN into MDW and can use the 4P shuttle to go back to MDW to hop the Orange Line. As "budget-conscious" as the three daughters are, it's the best option for them moneywise and it's a solid option for the parents since there's not much point in renting a car if you're seeing downtown Chicago. They walk several miles a day so I'm sure they can deal with getting to and from Metro stations.

I really like the new AF lounge concept, but, their food offering are somewhat simple.

Speaking of lounges, anybody know what lounge MH uses at TPE (there are in T-1) and if it is any good?

Dan

It is one of those regionally operated lounges, I think they share it with TG, and Phillippine Airlines.

Actually no concern at all about them, more along the lines of how long has this been known before it was public? I think we should thank them, for possibly exposing a dirty little secret !
