The sad part is that after you arrive OMA; you have to drive west on I-80 for 3 wonderful, scenic hours before you can arrive at bag world HQ.

How long is the drive if you fly into EAR?
The HQ is between EAR and the Arch. |

Likely story. ;)
$218 for EWR-OMA? What kind of special is that? Someone must have put that in as some sort of joke.

wow I am out flying this weekend anyway, but those are sucky specials.
They must have low booking to OMA, IAH-OMA is on 'sale' too.

Well if I had the time I would probably actually be on the OMA flights. Need the line and want to visit the historic Baglady Headquarters!

I thought you were just joking about having to go to EAR. I only spent one night there. My apologies.

Despite my not thinking they are worth it, I've ordered $4,000 in dollar coins tonight. Most are to be used to open a Chase account for my 25K points and are being paid for with my new AA Citi card which is worth 25K points there (plus the 4K for actual spend).
I'm also having them shipped to the office from which I can deposit them at a real Chase branch by simply taking the elevator downstairs. Much better than the challenges I've faced up in my 'hood. Oh, and I need some more to spend, too. |

Hmm, don't move into my neighborhood. Locusts might be next. |
I'm still getting used to scouting out possible bump situations...
I'm on CO 1527 tomorrow, BWI-IAH (and then 423 on to MSY). Flight status on CO.com shows "F: available; Y: full", but the seatmap shows about 18 Y seats unclaimed (most are exit rows or special assistance seats). Seatcounter shows everything zeroed out except 5 F/Z/A/D and 4 Y/B. ...Does this translate into "oversold"? Or "close"? Or just "is not possible"? There's availability on the next (and last) BWI-IAH flight, plus time for a connection to make the last IAH-BTR of the night (which is where I'm eventually going anyway). It would be awesome to score some bump money AND save my friends the 2 hours of driving to/from MSY to come get me... |
