Morning, Box. Thanks for the good vibes. Was supposed to play golf today - uh, bzzzt. Wrong answer.

I may still go pick the fiancee up at ZFV - we shall see how the day unfolds.

The Amtrak bonus ride thing is today but I don't know that I'll actually do it. There are virtually zero cheap rides from NY Penn. EWR is $40 and leaves at 9:30. Not gonna happen. Newark Penn is $5 less but still probably earlier than I want and more than I want to spend.

Good morning. I'm back from my trip to Japan and Hong Kong.

It was great, and let me just say that ANA is pretty good. CO flyers will appreciate that *A member, though I doubt we'll get more than 70% of flight miles on discount Y fare.

In fact, I say I prefer NH to carriers like CX or SQ, at least in Y. I see too many "Singapore Boys" on SQ in the back of the bus, while NH's cabin crew is all female. :p

I can't see any way that participants in this promo can earn anywhere near even 500 points for it. It's not worth your time or money to buy a ticket just to participate.

I went to a williams-sonoma yesterday while waiting for my rez time since I got to FLL early for the modified reservation.....$1500 for a copper wok.....no thanks!

Agreed, though I've got nothing else going on this morning. I can be at NYP in about 30 minutes if I want; 45 if I shower first. The $35 would get me my 100 point minimum plus the bonus points, but that is still way too much to pay. I ws considering it just to say I did it, but I can't justify it over $20.

wish that lady had let me sleep on the plane.

Was she old? Who talks to someone when they're asleep? Unless you're in a committed relationship.

Yes she was an older lady....and I talk to anyone but I'd have preferred to sleep a bit more, she did start dozing off herself, once her husband put on the bose, I also put in my non boze in ear, she must have gotten the point :D

I was sleeping well when she asked for me to let her out...oh well, i needed to stretch anyway sitting back there non exit row, my knees were jammed to the back of the seat in front.

I'm glad I'm not going to be at ZFV today I'd have to be extra careful of runaway civics.

Everything is over priced there. I once saw an All-clad pot there for $250 and I found the exact same model at Macy's 30 minutes later for $80.

Hah, our company still issues circa 1994 flip phones (whatever is free from AT&T). After 2 years of begging, I'm finally getting a Blackberry in the coming weeks. I forced the issue by refusing to do email after work at the customer site, dinner, etc. I'm sick of working from 7-5, shower, dinner, drinks, etc and then starting emails at 9PM. The only ones of us that have smart phones are those who bought them ourselves and we're an "older" (read less tech-friendly) company, so most are happy with their Nokia flip phones.

He'd have a rental, so he can't claim that crap either.
