If we can't shop at WalMart then I will be regulated to eat at Red Lobster, Applebess, and Golden Patio. :(

I like my QC2 -- I really despise some of the features of the QC3 -- like the fact that you have to travel with yet another charger. Another charger, another thing to lose. <sigh>

Those choices might drive me to eat at the local Shell station.

Speaking of Red Lobster, some of my colleagues are taking me there next Wednesday for my birthday (a week before my actual birthday; my birthday week was inconvenient for them). I liked the cheesy biscuits a lot more before I looked at the calorie / fat content ...

I woudl have troubles driving in Canada with my car at night but that's only because I can't see the kmh part of my speedometer at night. Otherwise it's the same as here, well that and the headlight thing.

Agreed which is why I went with the QC2 (they're only a little over a year old). And I like the fact they kept the use of single AAA battery in the new model.

Canon is coming out with a slew of new P&S cameras. Apparently they are finally coming out with an S80 replacement called the S90 with HD recording. Not sure that is worth the $430 retail price or even whatever street price it will be.

Looking forward to the SD980. Wide angle lens and 3 inch touch widescreen. ^ Hope to get it before my New Zealand trip in October.

Don't worry about what you miss. You'll get to see it for the first time and it will still be magical. There will be plenty of firsts. Trust me on this!

It will be better for both of them. The pax up front will be fine. She is a good baby. She may get some horrified looks when they first sit down (we still get them - I ignore it). If Mrs. photog72 enjoys a cocktail, tell her to have a predeparture drink. She'll relax and baby photog72 will be even more at ease (well, I always thought that worked).

She is a lap child. She will be a happier lap child up front because more space, more attention, etc. The biggest thing with air pressure is drinking, sucking, etc. on take off and landing (which I am sure you and your wife know) whether it is a bottle, a pacifier, a cup, a finger, whatever - they just need to do a sucking motion and their ears equalize. On Sunday I sat behind a couple that did nothing for their baby on descent (and a very sweet, happy baby the entire flight) and he was just miserable because he had nothing to suck on.

Why you do you say she can forget about the mean in F? Have her turn the tray to the side and it should work okay. Not sure what time of day they are flying but if you are worried about the soup or something like that, just have them leave it off. The FAs will usually be very accomodating. I've found that the little cut out on the side of the seat works very well for storing toys, cups, etc. and easy to grab. Hope that helps.

Not quite. I got quite a few :rolleyes: in Montreal for turning right on red lights before I was informed that was a no-no.

Then again, I got those in NYC as well. :p

But at a penny, you can afford to run through them. Stock up now.

Cinemax is showing Medicine Man right now. Haven't seen that in a looong time. I still love the soundtrack from this movie.
