Get well soon, CM! I don't want to even think of how much it hurts.

Powerball utilises a 26 year annuity with equal payments and MM pays a graduated annuity over 29 years.

Sorry to hear of the stones, Mike. Hope you pass them and get to feeling better soon.

Thankfully the school district canceled the asinine plans they had to have an outdoor picnic this afternoon in the middle of a field with no shade. Why it took them until this morning to figure out that people would likely die is beyond me.

Instead, I'm going to take my wife to dinner and go finish putting her classroom together. This is high excitement here, folks. :-:

High ABV beer, too, if last weekend is any indicator. ;)

Let's not get ahead of ourselves. It's still August. I've seen this happen before. False hope of an early Fall, followed by a 100+ heatwave in September. The Sun is a crafty and unforgiving enemy. Do not be fooled.

We're going to hit 65 next week.:D

It hasn't ended in AUS - 100+ temps still on the foreseeable forecase. :td: I'm not hoping for a good September...

Yo Bizz:rolleyes:x,

I have been itching to take advantage of the expedia $200 off promo, and I have priced a trip out SAT-CUN at the InterContinental Presidente, leaving this Sunday for 3 nights for $295 a/i....

Should I take it? I need me some beach time, and I have a looooooot of free time with my career these days ....and I know it is Cancun, but for the hotel and the price, on CO (even though its only 50% eqm's), I still think it is worth it.....whatdoya think?

theblakefish Aug 19, 2009 5:27 pm

ADD: The Holiday Inn Arenas is available for almost $75 less....screw the amenities....

icurhere2 Aug 19, 2009 5:39 pm

As soon as I have my contract, I'm booking one of those trips.

Mrs. photog72 has asked me to use miles to upgrade her to F R/T IAH-BOS. She has a lap child. One who does not cry. Some have witnessed her demeanor. She's a very happy child. Even w/ the change of air pressure she seems to be okay (as evidenced by our trip to DEN). My wife looks at it as a space issue, meaning more space for the baby to spread out on her lap. Though, she can forget about the meal in F. She would have a shot at eating the meal in Y. Opinions? What would other pax in F think?

I have discovered a way to make vomiting not so objectionable of an activity. Subsist on water. That way, when it comes back up, there's very little acid and consequently almost no pain.

Do you really want my opinion? Do what ever the :p "F" :p you want, its your miles/money. Who cares what the other pax think. Ive flown with plenty of dogs, babies, adults that act like babies, etc... If they fly enough to get comp upgrades or have enough money to pay for F then so be it.

I'd personally rather be sitting in F next to a mom and baby than Y any day.
