Why must AA taunt me with its comfy Y seats, decent service, and very nice Admiral's Clubs at DFW, after I've already credited a number of AA segments to BA this year.

When reviewing my time for the remainder the year I realized I burned through my time a lot faster that I usually would. By March, I had already used more than 3 weeks between Hong Kong, London, Las Vegas and the DO this year. Most of my leisure trips are about 4-5 days in length Wednesday/Thursday to Sunday or some variation over a weekend so I can work 40 hours before and after the trip to minimize the impact on my benefit time. After Florida in July and NRT in Nov, I will have 16 hours of Holiday time remaining.

It may become my main program next year depending on what happens with CO/UA. |

The MR Calculator page is officially public now. It now remembers your bonus settings (via cookies) so they are saved for the next time you come back. I might try to set up "profiles" so you can save multiple sets (BD/UA Q-Up, CO Y, etc.) but that seems harder to do. :o

One Way Awards -- very useful Sane award pricing -- 135,000 for US to OZ with a combo of F/J Upgrades that...wait for it...actually clear! -- EXPs get free upgrades domestically and 8evips to use overseas OneWorld Emerald -- real F lounges, not bad Inflight power -- AA's got this on pretty much all mainline flights, even on the MD80's Easier to redeem awards -- when compared (at least for my booking patterns) with CO and UA to a lesser extent. Churnable CC's -- 30,000 (x3 cards) (x2 a year) = 180,000 :D AA --> HH points at a 1:2 ratio -- useful for topping off the HHonors account |

I was on a combination of ATR-72, 2x ERJ-145, and MD-83 this weekend, and each of the aircraft were in good condition. I may start using AA more often. Lack of priority boarding is not such an issue on the regional aircraft (where I have to gate-check my main carry-on), and my Amex Plat gets me AC access. I might look into a Plat challenge later this year, and complete it by using AA to Europe.

The plane hadn't been outside the US as far back as I could trace it (at least per the PDA site yesterday). I guess I've never chilled/warmed a can multiple times, so that could be it.

I refuse to fly AA unless it is the only choice, the way they did not communicate last week with my family that was flying only reinforces it, a flight was delayed over 4 hours on rolling delays and no communications from them at all, their regular operations are a mess.
I ask as three weeks ago AA pooh-poohed the last flight of the day from TPA-MIA just to hack me off, but the computer did call as soon as that happened. Moreover, when I called back in I was able to get the ticket pushed over to US and make it back to IAH. |

Doesn't have anything to do with where the planes has been. Can sodas are removed from all aircrafts at some point in time, taken back to the kitchen and redistribute to other flights. It's always interesting to see if you get a foreign Coke on a flight.

Just out of curiosity did you fill out the "contact me" part in the rez system?

Fixin' to be a long day. Broken pinky (I feel like I should be related to sfogate ;):D) is making typing agonizing.
My son is going to have surgery to plate his broken collar bone. He doesn't have to have it but the way the break is, with one bone sticking up close to the skin, we (that would be me) decided to fix this the proper way so that he doesn't have issues with pain later. |

:rolleyes:H N:rolleyes:. Sorry to hear that. I'm afraid to ask what stupid thing you were doing to break it!

It was similar to a sports accident, as it was an animal gone wild...breaking some bones. |
