(They're not quite shooting glasses, but the Coach® sunglasses do round out her ensemble.)

I'm speechless. Way to go Baglady.

It's not so bad when I'm not typing, and the occasional "pop" when the bone falls out of place and then goes back together. I'm debating going to get it splinted, but haven't yet done it. It actually doesn't even look that bad, just a little discolored and swollen.

(I made a finger sandwich between two 40lb. retaining wall blocks yesterday).

The local Bay area paper did an article about how short the waiting time is for organs in TN vs CA. According to them, the wait is only 2 months in TN and there are no resident requirements for getting on the organ need list.

So they are operating in the Airline Mogul world. :p

That's the way it sounded to me. ;)

Ouch. I think you should get it splinted soon.

This year I bit the bullet and went for AA and so far I've been very pleased, mainly by:
One Way Awards -- very useful
Sane award pricing -- 135,000 for US to OZ with a combo of F/J
Upgrades that...wait for it...actually clear! -- EXPs get free upgrades domestically and 8evips to use overseas
OneWorld Emerald -- real F lounges, not bad
Inflight power -- AA's got this on pretty much all mainline flights, even on the MD80's
Easier to redeem awards -- when compared (at least for my booking patterns) with CO and UA to a lesser extent.
Churnable CC's -- 30,000 (x3 cards) (x2 a year) = 180,000 :D
AA --> HH points at a 1:2 ratio -- useful for topping off the HHonors account

I don't think EXP will be maintainable with my new  schedule of flying mainly between IAH/HOU and SHV. However, I should be able to play around with AA Plat for a while, whilst still maintaining CO Plat.

Looks like my discretionary travel will get to pick back up around October or so. Moving and other marriage-related expenses will be eating up most of the budget until then.

I was negative 5 days on this last trip. Told the workplace that I would not be there regardless if they let me off or not.

Anyone know what WN's general criteria are when selecting destination cities? The SHV metro area has about 100K more residents than CRP, and substantially more businesses (Oil/Gas & Casinos) than CRP, yet SHV has no WN presence...

And how much would that itinerary have cost in AM?

It could be that WN generally likes to be courted to enter a market or when they feel like challenging a Goliath.
