Though, seriously, CM you are an awesome boxzien.

High praise indeed, gentlemen. Many thanks. colpuck is saying he adores me because I took his picture drunkenly hanging from a 739 cockpit and because he wants me to sell him the A300-600R that I'm getting rid of.

Yes, that is very funny. If only some humans can take the hygienic hint.

Opie and Anthony are discussing the paralyzed woman from the CO flight as we speak. Jim Norton is a CO Gold, and I think both Opie and Anthony have some kind of status too.

Oh yeah? Well I think you're a jerk.

I can feel it, it's going to be a  day today!

Yes. OUCH. Way too little sleep last night, plus I definitely felt somewhat "off" after giving blood (which has never happened before - weird).

At least I got an unsolicited wakeup call (which you better believe was necessary). ^

I'll be hauling myself all around Manhattan this afternoon/evening, meeting up with the fam around Columbia and then rehearsal in midtown. And I'll be carrying my instrument everywhere. AND it's supposed to be raining steadily. Delightful.

On a different note, if anyone in the NY/NJ area is interested in a Mac Mini, Micro Center in Paterson has the last gen for $399. Only 3.5% sales tax since it's in a urban redev zone. I picked one up for the folks last night.

Mac does DVI from the video card, no? How does (or does it?) jive with HDMI?

Are they saying anything interesting? I haven't listened in ages and i'll likely be dropping my XM soon.

They must be desperate though, they gave me three months free which i'm approaching the end of and then offered me a $6.99/month offer.

CM, do you think they'll survive on XM much longer?

The show just ended - it was a footnote thing. They're pretty consistent in their style, and they are the only show that will say what it is that they say when it comes to going after the media and being totally unfiltered (not that they're a source of inspiration or anything...).

I think they will stay on XM for as long as XM is there - they're not fans of the new Sirius-heavy management team, but Op, Ant, and Norton have all said many times that they love the freedom that being uncensored brings. Norton stopped blogging because the radio show gave him the creative outlet he needed that standup wasn't giving. Opie has also said that he's tired and really doesn't want to sign another contract, and they have said that they want to do a book when it's all over.

I miss oavirus.com - there used to be a guy who had an online clip archive, and the lawyers shut him down. Some of the old WNEW stuff is just priceless.

Post like me day will really suck for you - you'll have to be anti-Rangers. :D

Excellent point. I could go on for hours about what is wrong in AC, but the short version of this is that the city government is lazy and expects gaming to fix their problems for them. When Bader Field closed, there was ZERO talk of putting something other than a casino on that land. What the city hasn't processed is that the casinos have no interest in being good stewards of the city.

...after the previous weekend, PHL-IAH (EWR) FRA-EWR-PHL. Yes, I booked it. I think I'm insane. :p

Anyone else "out" those weekends?

In this particular ensemble, viola. Which is probably "medium" on the scale of portability, as instruments go. I'm not complaining; it could be a LOT worse!
