Then, respectfully, I'd suggest that you give serious consideration to fixing whatever car you have now, or make do with only have one car, or so on. Financing a depreciating asset makes absolutely no sense to me. If you can't pay cash for something (including a house, even though I'm not sure that paying cash for such an item is necessarily wise), then perhaps it shouldn't be bought at all.
I love Hondas. You probably can't go wrong with either model. My 1994 Civic is still providing excellent transportation services, although it will likely be replaced later this year. I have enough cash to buy a used car but can easily make the monthly payments. We are hardcore budgeters. Also, we currently have a Honda Accord (1996) and up until recently it ran like a champ. Then the water pump failed, and that to me is a good indicator of it being near the car's time. |

I'm not disputing any of your points. I simply believe in the "pay cash, or don't buy it all" mindset. That's all.

I just told Cablevision to go stuff themselves and cancel my service.
Ahhh. This feels almost as good as when I divorced US. |

Oh , I have heard mixed reviews of FI:rolleyes:S
Most of the complaints I've heard about FiOS have been that it's super expensive and their customer service isn't open on the weekends. We won't have the expense problem and my friend can do basic trouble-shooting over the phone. |

We’ve been staying with he and his beautiful bride at their South Florida home the last few days. And rapidly draining their world-class liquor supply in the process. :) Just wanted to say “Hi”. You guys look like you’re having a lot of fun. Drop by the Delta Lounge thread and say Hi. We guarantee you’ll get a warm welcome. |

Is it anywhere close to advisable to fly NYC-MXP and then try to get to LIN for an intra-Italy flght? AZ.com says that is one of my options...I know, that's why they're AZ.

I had the same crew SFO-SAN and SAN-ORD today. Nice group of folks on the UA side of things, particularly once we realized that I was continuing on with them. The UA trans/mid-con meal service is surprisingly close to CO service. Sandwich or protein/salad option, both with a soup. And then a fresh cookie and milk for dessert. I was rather impressed, though the CO food is still better. Among other things. who puts strawberries on an Asian flavored chicken salad? But it is interesting to see the service on the two converging to something so similar. And getting drunk mid-afternoon on a flight makes for an interesting late afternoon sitting in the airport. I'm a bit woozy, actually. I hope I don't fall asleep before my US flights this evening. |
