Is yours made in Canadia? My wife's is, and surprisingly, no major problems.^ The way to find out, is if the first number in your VIN is 2. Cars made in Japan begin with J, Cars made in the USA begin with 1,4, or 5. Cars made in Messico begin w/ 3.

BKK-HKG can also be done on a Royal Jordanian A310-300 in Biz on the cheap, if you're willing to go open-jaw with your reward, and spend a bit extra. Ethiopian also flies the route. It's a short, cheap ride (even in Biz). Might as well get a funky new carrier.
