Say what you want about Colgan's service, but those little Saabs are hard workers, and incredibly reliable. They may be mostly be 10-15+ years old, and look like it inside the cabin, but my experience as a pretty frequent flier on Colgan out of IAH is that they're quite well maintained from a mechanical perspective. Over the years I've only once ever experienced a delay on Colgan due to an issue with the aircraft. Usually if they're not on time, it's because the weather is crap. |

Anyone have any ideas on how to fit a 50" plasma TV into a 21" roll-aboard? :o

I did CMH-IAH-SFO-EWR-CMH-IAH in a NyQuil-induced mini-coma, between bouts of hot flashes and chills, feeling on death's door. The entire weekend is just a blur, really. I don't think I could have handled it mentally if SFO-EWR hadn't been on a BF-Equipped 752. I got a good 4 hours of comatose slumber on that one.
I'm doing SFO-LIM in two weeks, but can't make non-refundable plans as far ahead as December yet. |

Will you be putting it into the overhead length wise or width wise, while uttering "it fit on the way here". :D

Not quite a Singapore_Air trip report, but good nonetheless.

Wow, you deserve a gold medal for putting up with all that while sick. Traveling while really sick is the worst; I had a trip in February 2004 that I came down with the flu on, and had to work sick. I honestly thought I was going to die that week.

I sampled the Palace Hotel in SFO this weekend. It was completely . I won't make that mistake again.

Never have to worry about moving for W&B and it is more legroom :D |

I stay at the Hotel Beresford Arms when in SFO. I get a check-in amenity as a repeat customer and partake extensively in the free afternoon wine and cheese reception.

I'm looking at doing some bump running at the end of Spring Break (3/21-3/22) but can't figure out a good strategy.
IAH-LBB is already completely sold out, IAH-AUS is sold out except for an early morning ERJ (which I don't think will oversell). Any ideas on other routes? |

That may work but it's the end of Spring Break, so I figured I'd jump on routes where people would be going back to school.
IAH-ATL on an ERJ looks like it may work. |

No SPG Points, so that would be a no-go for me.

Any Starwood recommendations for a weekend in LA? I need to get this stay booked soon, as it's for the weekend after next. Looking for good hotel, parking that's not outrageous, and a decent rate. Any recommendations?
