Interesting thing happened this afternoon...
I went to check in for the first half of my BWI-SEA run around 4:00pm. The BWI-IAH flight is at 3:15 EST and the IAH-SEA flight is at 7:10pm CST. Obviously, at check in, I should have only been eligible for an upgrade on the BWI-IAH segment. I was asked the standard question about being upgraded if available and responded with a yes. Next screen, my seat assignment shows me in 3F for the IAH-SEA segment. I never received an EUA email and my name does not show as being upgraded (or standby) on the PDA site. Sounds like the check in loophole is still alive! The flight was only showing 8/16 this morning (now showing 9/16), so I likely would have received the upgrade anyway... On top of that, I can't check in for my EWR-BWI segment. I just get the following: We are unable to complete the check-in process at this time. Please proceed to the airport for assistance. |
