First, I'd want to see the odo or else get them to send a current picture, depending on distance. .
odometer says 127K Car Fax says the last reported at 143K so someone either rolled back an odometer or the inspection shop that submitted the 147K to carfax had fatflingers

Yes, but the typo may have been on the DMV paperwork, instead. I'd be really suspicious if it didn't check out, but I'd see if they had anything to say about it.
CF says that the car was inspected 11/13/07 with 114,071 miles The inspection report in the glove box jived exactly with that The next CF date 1/28/08-says registration issued\renewed but no mileage given then an inspection 10/15/2008 with 142,861 (this is just a pure guess here-I'm thinking likely that it should have been maybe 122,861. based on earlier CF reported dates\mileage; 11/27/00(20),11/27/01(18,904),12/9/04(71,261),11/29/05(86,130),11/30/06(99,390), 11/13/07(114,071),10/15/08(142,861) 16.2 avg\yr till the big jump of 28.7 at the end Pretty big jump for the single owner) |

How is it that my Passport *still* isn't recognized on check in but dergon_gf's is. I've supposedly fixed this like 4 times now .....grr.
Pouring rain here in Tokyo all day today. Like buckets being dumped from the sky. I decided the safest course of action was to go eat more sushi at Tsukiji (I had two breakfasts :D) and then spend an hour around the temple near my hotel before heading out to the airport. By the time I got on the train my pants, jacket and shoes were all completely soaked. I could change out of the pants and take off the jacket, but the shoes are the only pair I brought, and they're still wet. :( Oh, and the DL 744 just landed here at NRT. It actually looks pretty good. |

Greetings from C-26@IAH - ssullivan stopped to say hi on his way home, and our SEA flight is looking on-time... Dear Terminal C Papa John's: Your service of flat Coke sucked, as did the attitude of your drone at the register. And glad I got to say hi to you guys, even if it was just for a few minutes. |

First rule of transiting IAH on CO — avoid most of the food in Terminal C and hike it to Terminal E. That's part of why my dinner last night consisted of five bags of pretzels and two gin and tonics on the IAH-ATL flight, followed by ice cream at home. I refuse to eat in most of the Terminal C restaurants. And the gin and tonics were great to lower my blood pressure after a stressful week and yet another run in with the TSA goons at BTR who don't know their own rules and somehow were convinced a travel-sized WiFi router I travel with every week was a threat to national security.
And glad I got to say hi to you guys, even if it was just for a few minutes. Still doesn't beat one of the ladies at that coffee shop in Terminal B that told me the milk was fine even though it smelled like baby puke. |
I'm no sbm12, but I did figure that I will spend about 54 hours behind airport security this weekend...

Took baglady jr. to ballet and was rear ended on Kirby. Fortunately I was stopped and driver was going slow; no one hurt and car is okay. Still . Drove to a meeting that was . I did, however; get to see Elmo today :) |

Yeah, Terminal C food is Hep-A and Salmonella poisoning waiting to happen.

The other terminals have seen some slight improvement in the food, and there are some halfway decent options in A and B, but for the most part, everything they control is a disaster. |

You're taking the bus from now on.
We were "rescued" from the Termalink by a guy that ran out of the maintenance shed between B and C. They kept it running and just used the "other" side. Was the train still stuck when you came through? I know I'm way behind on my Boxing, but just wanted to send my regards to sfogate and my wishes for a safe journey and I hope everything turns out okay. Yes, rolov, I procured Shipleys and even brought a half dozen back for the Canuck. Even got my 20% off. |
sfogate, our thoughts and prayers go out to you. Safe travels.
