I finally said something when the FA's did their last walk-through of the cabin and they asked him to put his seat forward. He did and, again, as soon as they walked away, he put it back. I finally spoke up and asked him if his minor improvement in comfort for 5 minutes was more important than the lives of the folks behind him - in case we had to evacuate the plane.

Hello Box!
I have a problem of enormous magnitude and I'm wondering in anyone in the box is a "techie" and can help me!! I have a Dell Inspiron 640m laptop (about 3yrs old) that I use constantly. Everything was fine with it until yesterday! Now my wireless thingamabob is playing silly buggers. Now, I am not what you would called technically competent. I can sort of find my way around simple stuff, but as soon as you start introducing words like 802.11g WPA-2Personal and AES-CCMP then my eyes glaze over and in my mind I retreat to a desert island with sparkling blue waters, a cosmopolitan in hand and a cooling breeze wafting me as I swing in my hammock. Anyway, I digress. As I was saying, my wireless thingamabob is being somewhat obstreporous (sp?). I have discovered that I have a network adapter called an Interl Pro/Wireless 3945ABG. (That, in and of iteself is a monumental leap forward in my education, having discovered that by rooting around in places I shouldn't be allowed on this computer!). Everything was working fine until yesterday, when suddenly, my wireless radio whatever it is called switched itself off. It seems to happen only when it has been idle for about 5 minutes. When I try to switch it back on again, it just tells me it is already enabled and the only way I can get it to switch back on again is by rebooting my laptop. Now anyone who knows my laptop knows it takes about a decade to reboot, so naturally I'm not a happy bunny. I went out to the internet (snuck onto Mr. Brits "big" computer and did a google search for Pro/Wireless 3945ABG and found lots of stuff that, to be honest, is greek to me). Anyway, I did try to follow some of the advice I found. but, bugger me, if it still isn't doing it today. Anyone got any ideas? |

Sentence structure? Haven't you read my posts? There is no need for sentence structure, or grammar for that matter. :p

last night I made fresh chunky tomato sauce from some cheap on sale tomato at the store(a little mushy but great for a sauce) then I made a meat mix of 90% lean ground beef and some chunky chili meat with Italian seasonings.
Put down some lasagna noodles, homemade sauce, romano cheese, cottage cheese, Parmesan cheese, layer of meat, mozzarella cheese, repeated 2x and yum yum best lasagna I have had in a year or more. The sauce was just incredible. I worked 5am till 7:30pm yesterday without eating, drinking, or even stopping at all, worked 2.5 hours on the lasagna snacking along the way only had a few bites. It is lunch and dinner today, as lasagna reheated is a perfect food. |

Does it also include "And the jerk wouldn't let me put my feet in front of his seat?"
Thankfully he didn't step on my box of Shipleys. I would have fought him over that. |

It shouldn't, because I didn't push back on him taking up my space (I generally feel sorry for people in that middle seat.
I once had a guy in the middle seat want to put his laptop bag under the seat in front of me, so he had more foot room. Not only was I about 8-9" taller than he was, but I had my own bag to stow down there, as the overheads were packed. He gave me grief over how uncomfortable he was for the entire flight, but I'm sorry, I'm not responsible for other people's comfort in flight. I won't do anything unreasonable to make someone else uncomfortable (like putting my bag in their foot space), and I expect the same from other passengers. |
