Don't you just love that about London hotels? I have a rule when picking a hotel there — it needs to be new enough that it has a climate control system that can do AC or heat, any time of the year.

Good luck! You'll need it. You've got some really tough routes to upgrade on in there.

I'm more concerned with upgrading on EWR-LIM-EWR than on the others. I'm not holding out much hope for the Transcons.

It's going to be a tough day for me today and tomorrow. My dad has taken a turn for the worst and I have been advised to get myself and the kids to CLT ASAP. :( Leaving tonight for IAH at 6:35pm and checking into a hotel for a few hours of rest. I hate flying redeyes. Leaving first thing Friday morning for CLT on an ERJ. Traveling postive emergency space so I don't have to worry about getting seats.

Getting back home on Friday is not going to be the easiest thing. Flights out of CLT are full. Will try going via UA Air since they have a non-stop and if that doesn't work I have confirmed seats on Saturday.

:mad: My luck just ran out.
