Most definitely. MIII Global LLC is up and running, though I am still researching whether it is beneficial to create another entity for Global EDD Group given my other ventures in industries such as travel. For now, however, we are days away from blasting the industry with marketing.

While sometimes frustrating, this process has also been a lot of fun and a great experience. For that, I thank my tool of a former boss. It is great taking an idea and running with it, plus getting great feedback from others within the industry. Now, it is just a matter of landing more partners and building the portfolio of service offerings while also expanding the brand name. ^^

IIRC, they have a nonstop JFK-YVR on a 744 (which then continues on to HKG from YVR).

It is a 773 now. I actually thought that they had killed the flight, but they didn't. Apparently they run the only non-stop on the route. The timing westbound is horrible (22:40 - 1:30+1), but it is the only non-stop on the route now that AC has dropped their flight.

Is that the only NYC-YVR year-round nonstop? IIRC the CO service is seasonal, no?

Anyone have a "tech" font that might be good to use in a simple logo?

I just had one done by The Logo Company. They did a great job, did many revisions as part of the fee, and provided me with all the required file formats for $149. I definitely recommend them.

Any of the HH Amex cardholders in the Box playing this Advance Your World game? Holy hell, some of these race courses are tough.

I've been to all of those, except for AVL. I would go back to CVG, at least for the Chili.

Asheville's rather nice for a weekend destination.

I have been seriously out voted on this issue.

Do you know what breeds the dog is? It looks a lot like my late dog I adopted.

Looks like you've been kicked off AVL Island. :p

In other news, the RCC/PC thread is home to my latest UA Forum-hating diatribe.

And in further off-topic news, there is a good chance that thanks to the Devils' win over Calgary tonight, I will be present at the game in which Marty Brodeur sets a new NHL all-time wins record. Add this to my attendance at his 100th shutout and that's quite the year in picking hockey games to attend.

This deserves a picture, but I got a hickey from my 4 month old daughter.

I was burping her against my shoulder, and (not knowning) the burp cloth fell to the side, and I was watching TV. Apparently, she was sucking on my shoulder, and I didn't even feel it. After about 10 minutes, my wife walks by and thought my daughter was sucking blood. No. She starts to laugh... it's a hickey. Let the jokes begin.:D

1) Yes I have

2) UA bashing is the norm around here

3) I didn't know the NHL still existed...seeing as I can't watch the games on TV.

Haha. Or when their friends are having a wedding reception at one.

We did a weekend at the Omni on Woodway in Houston last June and it wasn't bad at all; older property but nicely kept and very comfortable, well appointed room. The frequent guest program doesn't offer much, except UA points (and those are only on select rates) but they did give us the option as members to have a morning coffee/tea/juice service brought to our room, which was quite nice. Fill out a card, leave it on the door, and in the morning you get a knock at the time you choose and open the door to find a tray with your selections sitting outside waiting. The fresh coffee, bottled water, and orange juice with our morning paper was appreciated, and a nice touch.

Still not enough to make me give up points elsewhere to stay with them though.

I stayed at the Omni in PIT for a wedding, and I very much enjoyed it. I really like seeing the simple things life done as close to perfection as possible, and that hotel has the burger and Caesar salad pretty much down pat. Their shoe shine service was great: 15 minutes from pickup to dropoff. That hotel is laid out a little like ATL...three long shafts of rooms with central elevator points, and if you don't take note of the elevator you used, it thoroughly screws you when you're trying to stumble back from a wedding.

Come to think of it, one of the many many many job applications I filled out and got no response was the Omni at CNN Center. I applied to administer the frequent stay program at the property level. The Box would have had an ATL Do around that, no doubt.

You live in ATL - they do have a team there.
