In either case, I should have bought more than 9 bottles last weekend ...

One can never buy too much wine. It always seems to disappear faster than you can purchase it. :)

The one Feinstein title that I can't bring myself to read is Caddie for Life.

It was quite the tearjerker.

My boss (former? he's still on the payroll) has Lou Gerhig's disease. It's been 13 months since he's worked. I got some photos recently that about ripped my heart out.

So sorry to hear - I've worked for a few people I respect greatly and can't imagine.

It's a old-fashioned butt kicking, plain and simple.

MSU lost to UNC by 35 points back in December, playing in Ford Field. I knew this was going to be an ... kicking. I didn't even turn the TV on to watch.

Pinot grigio and vodka are my weaknesses.

Exactly why I don't want to read it...I prefer my human drama to be historical in nature. I will happily re-read Bury My Heart At Wounded Knee if I had to, but I'll continue to hesitate about Caddie.

I thought there would be some "adjustments". UNC isn't so dominant as to beat a team (so soundly) that got through five rounds of the tournament so well.

CO finally lowers the EWR-DSM fare on the dates I need. But, of course there is a catch. They're only selling 1 ticket (I need 4) at the cheap fare and it only includes the 6:50am departure on the return (I need the 4:45p).

:mad::mad::mad:

There's a chance, they are down by only 16 points.

I'm waiting to get my fill of basketball when the NBA Finals roll around. My wife will be glued to the TV. Now if only I could show her that football is clearly more awesome than basketball....

There's no longer a chance - I'm just taking my pool win now.

Has she watched a football game? Shouldn't this be obvious?

She has, but I think part of the issue is that she didn't have a clue about what was going on prior to me explaining large portions of it to her. I fault her father for this travesty, as it was his responsibility to make sure she didn't get out of her teens without understanding the fine tradition (and not-so-fine felonies) surrounding professional football. I am attempting to remedy that now and will make an effort to take her to a game wherever we wind up this winter.

I need a new job. :(

Will there be riots in Detroit because of the loss?

ConciergeMike Apr 6, 2009 9:48 pm

Battle of the JayWalk All-Stars might be the thing I miss most about Leno retiring.

I'm about to settle for the crap I use to do.:( Maybe I should get into the construction end and babysit contractors doing the Turnpike widening?
