Mine was going :rolleyes: till I got in the car and tried to turn it over and discovered the starter seems to be out. This is just not my week!

I use my miles to upgrade my friend and I to BF to NRT in July and since I put her on the list first she gets the upgrade.

Tuesday I use part of my tax refund to pay off my Car note and Thursday the car starter goes out. The good thing is I have tow insurance so one less bill to pay!

Oh, just signed into Yahoo and they are saying 12% are in foreclosure or behind on their mortgage. This is a national crisis. 12% is nothing, but then again this is America, were the most vocal become the majority.

I know a couple of them would say yes to Porter's but others would be :rolleyes: to that idea so it would have the full :rolleyes: effect. Finding a central London pub (not in the City :rolleyes: ) for about 10 people that has food on Saturday and that you can just crash, drink, eat, talk, etc. for a bunch of hours (i.e. typical FT type stuff) is a chore. It's just that they said they were going to do the searching this time since I found the place in Oxford and Manchester we last gathered.

Edit: now there's talk about an outdoor seating area just incase the weather is nice. :rolleyes:

Tell me about it. NW, on the other hand, is wide open. So, I booked a ticket on NW.

I'm struggling to get two more Starwood nights and one more Marriott night to get another 5,000 point SPG bonus, and the last 15,000 points of my Marriott MegaBonus (total of 50,000 points). Unfortunately it may mean having to switch from the really nice, and very new, HGI in Beaumont in early April to the older and not as nice Courtyard.

I also wish SPG would hurry up with my Platinum status match. It would be really nice to have it in time for our stay in the LA are next weekend.

If it does go through, remember to call up the SPG Plat Concierge and have them contact your L.A. hotel, to refresh the reservation (to reflect your status) on their end...

I had to cancel my Boeing tour this weekend because I just realized that I will not arrive early enough to make it. Is the Paul Allen collection worth going to if you only have about 1.5 hours before closing time to see it?
