I am really pissed right now. I could be at the Do. But I'm at home (which being home last night was really nice) and stuck with hours and hours and hours of work crap to get done today.:mad::mad::mad::mad: |

Space Center Houston. Though, that may be too far to go. Like art? The Museum district is a good place to go. Picture taking... hmm.. Good pictures of downtown can be had from this park. Other places to go are Hermann Park. Houston is not good for tourists.

Truly sorry you missed this event. Last night was great and the mystery event involved a tour of Texas at 3000-10000 feet. Buzzing the tower at HOU was particularly fun, especially with the comments from the crew.

Yeah, when you posted in your blog about "9920" I knew you were getting flown around. I watched the second half of the flight on FlightAware. Going to check out your pics now.
Seriously, the flight was just awesome. No other words really work right now. |

Seriously good times thus far. http://www.continentaldo.com/2009/02...3e-for-us.html The next hangar contained a 757-200 undergoing heavy maintance. All the seats were outside the aircraft and the fuselage was stripped down to the wiring inside. They actually let us go through it with giant holes in the floor plating. The lavs were detatched and sitting in the middle of the floor. They also had the nose cone up so we could look at the radar and TCAS systems. The engine cowlings were pulled back so we could actually get under and inside them. It was very, very cool. I mean, how many times does one get to walk through a stripped 757-200 in a lifetime? ^ to the CO MX team for showing us around and answering approximately eleventy billion questions from everyone. |
Damn. I slept in with the wife and baby. Missed it all. We'll be there for brunch tomorrow. Enjoy the Q&A sessions. Time to go to work.
|
Please PM me if you need a ride to the brunch.
