Morning box. I sense a high :rolleyes: day. Friends in UK are being :rolleyes::rolleyes:. They agreed that I won't be the one picking the pub this time for a mini D:rolleyes: in London. So as of yesterday, nothing. So I through out a name of a couple of pub names I've seen else where on FT. So what do I get for a resp:rolleyes:nse? "Are you keen to be in that area?..." :rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::mad: Than make a :rolleyes: so I can stop :rolleyes:

I found out the other day that my partner didn't even know what a kolache was, and has never had one. Then he kind of turned up his nose at the idea of it, and he couldn't understand why something that was supposedly from Eastern Europe would be so popular in parts of Texas. The boy has so much to learn about my home state, and I promised him that next trip to Houston, we were going out for kolaches one morning.

No sweating the upgrade on a 777-operated IAH-EWR flight in a few weeks for me. It's a one way ticket, and CO.com put me on a refundable B fare. I'm already in 2D.

My oddball travel routings of late have resulted in quite a few B fares, which has been quite nice. Makes me wish CO had done for the old H fare what they did for the new B fare years ago; would have meant a few more upgrades on those IAH-MSP flights I sat in Y while flying on an $800 H fare back in 2006/2007.

I think that may need to wait for a playoff game in early April or sometime in May (or, hopefully June) at The Rock.

We have the time tentative at 630 but have no objections if it is changed to later or much later. Actually, I am doing this to save the cost of a postage stamp mailing a check for The Palm to xyzzy. :D
