I still need to write up my thoughts in full, but it is a nicer experience overall inside. I get the impression that the Mets' field was designed for the fans and folks who want to watch the games. Yankee stadium was designed for the merchants and the team.

The sight lines and concourses are very surprising as both seemed incredible when I toured the stadium last October. The prices and concessions are no surprise. I'll be interested in reading your full thoughts when you get them down.

I'm going to a game at the stadium in a few weeks, so it will be cool to see how it compares (at least to the old stadium). I don't ever intend on stepping foot in CitiField. :)

I want a $0.05 fare to NRT tomorrow in BF. Included in that fare I want a luxury limo for my trip to and from the airports as well as a foot massage on the flight. I also want full access to every airlines lounge too. In addition I want an Umpa Lumpa and my neighbor's daughter wants a pony.

Forget that. I want a brand new house to my design and material specifications in Princeton with all taxes, utilities, and maintenance paid for life. Then I must also get a 2000 SF condo on the upper west side...

OK, the fire trucks just arrived across the street.

Driving home from work I passed a just started brush fire next to rt. 35 south. The funny thing was that about 1/2 a mile or so down the road there were two firetrucks at the Dunkin hanging out. I kinda wish I pulled over and rubber necked because when I was about two miles away I could really see the smoke in my rear view mirror. :o

did you report the fire at all?

I won't hound you too bad but if you didn't you need to in the future.

There were cars pulled over on each side of the road (a divided road), so I assumed one of them called it in.

That's easily going to bring your fare up to $1.40.

just get a stimulus package and make its cost $50,000,000 we all know money grows on trees and the federal reserve can just harvest some more!

It was a very small brush fire at the edge of the detention of the adjoing development. Here's some of the stuff that responded I've heard from plenty of police officers in the past that if you know a volunteer company is enroute, go the opposite way for your safety. There were a few Keystone cop things. I was told they were at the parallel street first as that's where the call came in but they couldn't get even close to it. Now the stupid part. They drove about 2.5 miles around to get here from the other street. If they turned around and went the other way it's less than a quarter mile. A stupid safety thing. If you look at the photo (enlarge view better) you will notice the wheel chuck on the second fire truck is in front of the rear wheel. That will do no good since they are facing up hill and it will want to roll backwards. And the biggest one was the guys who adventually showed up with the Hummer (I finally know why they bought that thing but they still got it stuck) 15 minutes after everyone else when everone else was doing the "where have you been hands in the air thing" Oh I'm a two minute drive from the fire station. I now know what the cops mean.
