I almost got arrested the last time I went to the DMV. Hint: if your local office has a cop standing post in it, it's because the DMV has essentially admitted that the 6-point policy has sent people to the point of rage. I was one of them.

I miss the old NJ licenses, the ones you could print at home and laminate.

I had three people telling me I was insane and going to end up with a suspended license. Finally got a supervisor who simply just said do this, do this and do this and you're done.

I walked into my local DMV with 8 points of ID. Despite that 8 is a higher number than 6, they told me that it did not conform to their 4-1-1 makes 6 standard. OK, I can almost go for that. But when I said that two fours make eight, the response put me over: "We're not allowed to add."
