They didn't pull the fare, though, did they?

No. Just the ability to book into F on a three class cabin. Not that you're missing much. :)

I'll go back to my crazy UA/US routing for the next one, then...

Or LBB-AUS, as a WN flight stops there to let people off.

Does anyone know how the UA flights that are showing up on CO.com will credit mile wise?

I am looking at AUS-SIN for $860 but the NRT-SIN is on a UA 777 and no miles show up for it.

Here's hoping you can force through F cabin on a 3-cabin IAD-SFO flight. :D

Probably not. Look at post 12 here.

Never know what to expect from UA but I certainly wasn't complaining!!

UA is notorious for overselling coach on PS with the expectation of upgrading folks. I've only once been denied an upgrade on PS and that was before I was 1K and i checked-in late.

So, when they oversell, they start looking for folks to upgrade. I managed to get moved up to F on a PS flight a few weeks ago on a $150 fare.

I feel sorry for the poor idiots who pay for F on those flights.

No credit until late October at the earliest, and we don't really know what the credit will be at that point.

Before October 25, 2009 they will not credit at all. After that date they are likely to, but starting when and how much will be credited for each fare class is anybody's guess.
