No problem at all. Grab your FRA-EWR BP in EWR before you leave. I'm pretty sure at FRA you can just stay in transit. What days are you looking at that trip? I've been trying to find one more good PHL-Europe run before double EQMs expire.

I observed a trashcan fire at Terminal B yesterday, outside by the Taxi stand (caused by a CO ramper on break who threw a lit cigarette into the trash). Some guy just nonchalantly walked out of the Taxi stand office and put it out with an extinguisher. I got the impression this has happened more than once.

I watched one of those at GNV once. Same solution, too.

I think I've come up with a solution to clueless border agents stamping the Amendments/Endorsements section of my passport. For my next passport, I'm going to place sticky-notes over those sections with a disclaimer: "Please do not Stamp Here - Amendments & Endorsements Only." It's a bit late for the present passport, but eventually, perhaps I'll be able to add pages to my passport without having to get a new one every few years.

So if I have a stamp on one of those pages will they not add pages to my existing passport? That would suck. I'm getting to the end of mine and I'm pretty sure a Canadian stamped it back there once.

Yep. We'll be representing the MR Eastern Conference this weekend. :D

I'm doing the same run Sun-Mon. I'll be in TPA late Saturday night and Monday night too. Got the Grand Hyatt both times for <$60 a/i on priceline. Got the Hilton in ONT for the same price. I like hotel points and status, but when the stays are half price or less I just cannot justify the extra cost.

I f'd up and didn't book my TPA-NYC segment on Saturday when DL had seats for $96. Now I'm stuck with FL (ATL connection and a 717 segment, which would be new) for $86, a US connection for $108 (at least I'd get BD miles) or a DL nonstop for $165. Again, I'm not sure I can justify the 2x cost just for the miles. I think I'm going to book FL. I also think I'm going to book NK for the FLL-TPA trip, just to add to the ridiculous of this run.

What's the difference between Main Cabin Select and regular coach?

From what I remember, with Main Cabin Select you get your choice of exit row or bulkhead seat and unlimited food and booze.

Main cabin select is E row and bulkhead, includes free booze, food, and all the AVOD options are free.

Flights from TPA-NYC on Sunday are a bit high. I'm thinking of just getting off at JFK and not continuing onto TPA on the way back.

For those of you doing PS F this weekend. Remember, Skykits on PS are worth more. (Generally $150 instead of $50).

So, the ones in paid F should in theory be worth even more. Hint hint.

5/23-24. There are a couple of seats left, but not many. Wanna join?
Flight numbers: 1777 / 50 (there's a plane switch in EWR) / 51 / 8803

I agree. Credit where credit is due. I posted about not getting a companion upgrade on my flight back from Bonaire. No real rant, just letting everyone know the facts, etc.

I had a call this morning from customer care offering me something for my inconvenience/disappointment. I accepted their gracious offer, the lady with whom I spoke was a pure delight, and therefore alls well that ends well.

I am a CO loyalist. Do I think the company walks on water - no! But, in the grand scheme of things, they get me to where I need to be, safely, usually with courtesy, and I like that!

I really don't like the posters who slam everyone. Negativity breeds negativity. Really - it doens't take much to play nicely in the sandbox does it? Of course, one can disagree with others' comments/posts, but at least be respectful and courteous when doing so. Less of the invective, etc.!

That's why I like the Box. You guys say what you think, but there is no-one that has IMHO posted something that makes me think "what an a$$".

(I love it when CM get's steamed about something. I enjoy reading his posts, because even though he is steamed he is never disrespectful.)

The only stamp I have on my Amendmensts/Endorsements page is a US entry stamp. Will that prevent me from getting pages added to my existing passport?

Clearly you haven't read all of the box. :) No, we're all good people in here. In reality, we're all just post whores. :)

I believe the technical answer to that is yes. It never hurts to drop by an Embassy/Consulate, though, as YMMV.
