Yep, that's the one. Let's hope the weather doesn't go all  again in IAH this Friday. There aren't any flights after that one (or the next day) that would get us to TPA in time to experience the glories of a Ted A320.

ETA - Have you gotten an EUA for IAH-TPA yet? I haven't.

Am I to assume you guys are doing a TPA-ONT run this weekend? I'm doing one Fri-Sat, so we'll likely wave to each other in the air. :D

When it comes to the larger trucks, Penske's are nicer than UHaul. However some don't like the higher floor for the cargo area as it's makes it hard to load and unload and many Penske trucks have manual transmissions. They aren't hard to drive as a nice diesel has a lot of low end torque but the long shift throughs take some time to get it down quickly so that you don't loose your momentum if you're going up hill.

Interesting. Penske is a tad more expensive (like $50) than UHaul but the recomendations make that a no brainer. Also, the listing for the trucks I'm looking at note automatic transmissions. It doesn't really matter because my truck is a manual so learning a different manual isn't a big deal. They look much better than UHaul. ^

You're still the Wizard of Fozz. Just because you do not possess iTunes sorcery does not you a wizard make.

It is not that bad .

What kind of time would he be looking at for a trip like that? NJ  is sometimes just as time-wasting as driving oneself.

I just booked IAH-DXB-MLE for June/July. IAH-DXB was the only flight that had any reward space I was hoping for YYZ-DXB for the 388, but alas I had no luck.

I missed my oportunity to fly the 380 in J on reward tickets a few weeks ago due to a change in plans and EK's decision to replace the JFK-DXB 380 with a 77W (and send the 380 to YYZ) on relatively short notice.

JFK to Shogun 27 - not to belabor a point, but that Google Map is just dripping in , if it were a drive.

I'd avoid the turnpike and take 440 on Staten Island to 287.

If someone was actually going to do that.

You can also right-click on individual songs and exclude them from Shuffle, I think. You lie blantantly, fozz. You are such a wizard.

I don't seem to have that option when I right click on the song.

VX isn't bad. But if you want to try 'em, pick a short flight like SFO-SAN. Main cabin select is great, but there's a bit of a premium for it. Though I believe you can upgrade at the airport for less of a markup, if it's available.

What's the difference between Main Cabin Select and regular coach?

I've had it take up to 3 hours as the trains don't meet and had to wait at both Jamaica and NYP.

The fast way now is Outer Bridge to 440 to TPK to Exit 9 to 18 N to 1 South, right at Sand Hill Road, turn right into parking lot right before next traffic light.
