And then there is my fiancee's sister, who heard from the top down in her school district that a few teachers learned of and broke up the existence of a :D-job club.

I feel like I went to the wrong highschool.

In sad news, it appears UA finally got wise to the TPA-ONT fare. JFK was pulled from the valid routing list.

Wouldn't that be baglady's husband to the seventh power?

I'm guessing he gets the same treatment at home

Schools used to be reliable for reacting to that kind of thing.

They didn't pull the fare, though, did they?

I don't fly UA and I'll venture a guess at that. The guess would be no. They were probably cranky that the runners figured out how to include PS F for cheap, but not cranky on the larger level of that many miles for that cheap. Pulling the fare would be considered a smart management decision by an outsider. When was the last time that "UA" and "smart management" were in the same paragraph, let alone sentence?

Meh. The photos I've seen of WN FA's from the 1970s are probably more salacious and prurient. To go from that to Khaki shorts is a pretty  jump. It's like going from Air MoonlightBunnyRanch to Air Prude in one big, crazy step.

that would involve me going to LBB. That just doesn't work for me.

Here's hoping you can force through F cabin on a 3-cabin IAD-SFO flight. :D

I went there in 1992. I don't need to go back.

They took the seven minutes in heaven a bit far!

Fiancee's sister teaches 8th grade. Continuing the list of term pairs that do not belong in the same sentence, I'll add to that list "8th grade" and "seven minutes". :D

UA upgraded me and my two friends to Business on a 3-class 757 on JFK - SFO last month and let me check my skis at no charge. The reason?? I put my USAir FF number in the reservation and UA showed me as silver elite (my US elite status expired 5 years ago and never allowed companion upgrades even then).

Never know what to expect from UA but I certainly wasn't complaining!!
