Tis a day of good impressions. First, my blushing bride and I went to a mobile bridal show in this area this weekend, and the turnout was less than expected and I left a good impression on a vendor, who in turn made sure I won a drawing for a $500 catering gift cert. Secondly, I hadn't turned my BB on all day, nor checked my email recently...the nameless company that mistakenly advertised full-time and meant part-time offered me the part-time spot. Both of these are Boxclusives...fiancee does not yet know about the caterer, and neither fiancee nor mother know of the offer.

So exciting!! Congrats :)

I'm very interested in everyones thought on that too. I've been holding off booking a trip for the end of July because of that.

I've always felt that it was better to book before being hired. Then, tell them when you will be away rather than asking for permission. Of course, you can't expect to get paid for those days...

That's what I've been thinking of doing. I don't expect the pay to be honest. I really do miss the days when I got 5 weeks of vacation a year.

CO's newest fierce rival: (also that's a 2nd V Australia plane at LAX. This one at the TBIT gate the whole 3-hours I was there from 5p to 8p)

Now, here a question/comment I have. What's with those faded "Continental" at CO's hanger? It looks horrible. Please paint it over!

And this one's for the real aeroplane geek. Whose plane is this and what's its connection with CO?

It has been awhile since I have flown one of those.
