Nothing beats running to the office restroom every fifteen minutes... because you have to ration your remaining vacation time, and don't want to risk a 40 minute bus ride home.

Of course. Those are highly profitable. I have HKG-SZX and CDG-ORY in my system.

I can now confirm that EK J is available on a RTW Reward Itinerary.

^^^^

Congrats! What cities/airplane are you getting on them?

ConciergeMike Apr 14, 2009 8:14 pm

CO had HOU-IAH and the famed EFD-IAH.

I flew DCA-IAD-DFW on AA in 1984.

UA had OAK-SFO, I believe.

I dropped one of those flights today as it lost its profitability.

Plus1 just came up with a new rule for me: "never ask a teetotaler to be a bartender"

He brought me what was I believe a big glass of vodka with a splash of diet tonic. While some people would be happy with this, I about lost it. It's now in a stadium cup (upgraded from a DOF) with diet tonic and is barely drinkable now

Happy Drinking everyone!

Hahahaha. I got that very advice from my PARENTS, whom I decided it was a good idea to call the first time I got drunk...my mother was amused, and told me to get some "heavy food, like pasta". Wow.

(in other news, hi again, looks like entertaining/memorable weekends were had by many - I had an amazing time and no flight drama in MSY/BTR, but definitely not on the epic scale like some of y'all!)

Nice! I MIGHT be going there this summer (and if not, next year)...I'll be sure to ask you for advice when the planning begins. :)

I shouldn't have had those fire hot potato chips at lunch. They didn't seem spicey hot when I ate them but now they seem hot. :(

I have a corollary - when a "bartender" (often an FA) says he/she doesn't know how to make a drink, offer to demonstrate. Otherwise, you end up with the crappy martini I had the Friday night of CO Do IV. Not that the drink was traumatic and etched in my mind or anything.

My favorite is SNA-LAX. 30 miles and you never got past 6,000 feet.

Back in the Shuttle days, UA also had SAN-LAX on 735s.

I also vaguely remember CO announcing a HPN-EWR flight, though I don't think it ever actually started.

I've done both of those flights.
