That is so true.
So let me rephrase my question: "Is drinking covered under the expense policy?" ;) |

If that works better for both of you then do it; I'm only 50% (at best) for 5/8 anyways.

Time to leave for my gig (and no, that's not the code for Rio de Janeiro....I'm actually playing a show ;)). I'll try to start posting more of them in the box. G'night!

I've got three weeks' worth of expense reports to do before I leave tomorrow afternoon. And zero desire to do them. Yet I need to pay my bills. :( Why can't the cat do these for me?

Drinking is always covered under the expense policy. There's always a way to get it in there, even when it's "officially" not covered.
I used to do that a LOT. All (almost) with the permission of the boss, but still, a LOT. I did get away with one dinner in Germany on the CGN run with 5 coworkers that was questionable, but it was also delicious. :D |

Team building event doesn't work when you travel alone most of the time. But there are other ways, like credit card receipts that aren't itemized. ;)
I had one dinner expense on a report once that was something like $15. Apparently I didn't have a receipt for that one. The accounting woman walks over with the report in hand and says "I need your receipt for April 16." I ask how much, she tells me, and I pull a receipt out of my drawer that was within $3. I told her the difference was the tip. She was not happy with me at all, but it met the requirements. |
Shogun 27 on May 30. Anything at the turn of the month is tough for me but right now I have nothing definite going on that evening. Mark us down as probable and we will be there unless work rears its ugly head.
We like that place and it has good memories for us.. |

I also like to save the detachable "thank you and come again" strips from the bottom of diner receipts. Those come in handy rather often.

So the QR flight buzzed The Heights, Montrose, and downtown trying to avoid the weather. Pretty neat to see a 777 at 6k feet and flying really slow.

I am now booked on a NW A-333 between ATL and MSP three times in a six day period in May. And on all three flights F is totally empty. Looking forward to flying that one on a domestic run.
