Well the better-half was able to get bumped to AA but for some reason I was passed over for a guy going to EWR. $300 richer but it could have been $600

Let me make sure I get this...you're asking if it's better to:
  1. Spend $1700 more?
  2. Go the long way?
  3. Connect in LHR?
  4. Fly someone (the long way) that does not credit to CO?

Eh?

The only reason I was considering it was because they have a buy one get one companion offer now.

Their website is  and :confused:ing. They did not have very good pictures of the seat and cabin. I think you need to climb over the person sitting next to you to get out if you are at the window, but I can't tell.

My Tivo went  and re-set this past week, apparently erasing the season-pass for LOST. Have to wait until tonight to watch last night's episode online.

^ Nice - no problem getting her in to F on AA?

Did you spend the voucher yet? ;)

"Mattress Run" is the formal term. You can go on a MR, do an MR at the destination and then fly home.

It takes time to learn a new language at his age ;)

Haven't spent it yet, I'll wait until I get home to do that.

She's confirmed in Y, which is fine with her.

at this rate we are going to be out of here sometime late afternoon LOL

When I flew to LGA last time, I had used the wireless boarding pass option, and got to the gate and all their computers were down. There was a horrified look on the GA's face - she didn't know what to do with that. So she wrote down my info on someone else's BP... it took a long time to board...

Plus1 watches Lost? That's another phenomena that truly does not deserve its place in the cultural landscape. I stand by my assertion that there is a Starbucks on the f-ing island. They, or the others, or the time machine people, or Dharma & Greg, or whoever, just haven't found it yet. (No, I don't watch. The Mom does. She has repeatedly said that it has become a chore at this point because it's become so stupid and she can't bail without knowing what happens.)

Regarding the competing posts, I had this vision of each of you going to their own computer after dinner...and when one posted something to get a reaction from the other, you would hear the  thru the walls.

<Plus1 finishes post>
baglady: "Oh, so that's what you think, is it????"

Glad she got the bump; too bad it isn't both of you. How was the trip?
