My dad is a Dodgers fan....He took me to the 77 Dodgers/ Yankees World Series. It was pretty incredible and yes, I feel old now considering some of you weren't even born then!

When I was a kid, they were the Brooklyn Dodgers and baseball died for us when O'Malley scrammed out of town with them. Nobody even knew where this Los Angeles place was and lots of them could tell you almost anything you wanted to know about every important city in Germany or Poland or Russia. |

Those BBs are hardy. Franny dropped hers down an elevator shaft and it hit and came to rest on a concrete pad three floors down from where it started. It worked fine when she got it back and the only ill effect was a bent frame which she did not even notice until I pointed it out. Who needs a warranty (except of course, baglady ;))?

Tomorrow I take a ride in the MRI tube. My right knee has been giving me problems for a few years now but lately it's been killing me. I saw the orthopod on Monday and of course he suspects that I have a torn meniscus.
Go figure. If I have what he thinks, it's only 20 minutes of surgery and two holes. And about a week or two off sick. If that's the case, none of us are going through SFO until you are well! Keep us posted and I hope it all goes well. If you have surgery, the good news is, more time for FT! |

BL JR did a stellar job filling out the bracket  Basically as long as it had the word Texas, California or Oklahoma in it (No clue why she likes Oklahoma - we have no family there and she's only been there once; must be Scott6067 ;) ) she picked it. She may win for worst guesser because she has Texas vs A&M in the finals. Like that will happen
Plus1 went all safe and has all four #1 picks in the final 4 - equally  |

Everyone hates the Dodgers. It was quite weird when my son played Little League because he had to wear a Dodger uniform one year and we live in San Francisco.

I just watched the first two episodes of Castle off of the DVR. Fun show - he's a nutcase and she's really hot and has a control problem. Not your typical cop show. :D

Baglady drug me to three (?) different Ws in NYC in a 4 day period a couple of years back.
There was some sort of promo based on stays, not nights, so I got to schelp luggage everyday. It was some kind of hotel MR. I had never even conceived of somebody doing such a thing. I was so naive. :D

You know I should have my right knee checked out as I'm sure it needs scoping (along with my shoulders) It's been a tad unstable for the past year after it decided to go all hurtsie on me when going down the killer stair case at work.
