The former. Unless you have some sort of attachment issue where being 50 feet apart in the same metal tube is a problem for a few hours go for the much more likely scenario where at least someone gets to sit up front. You'll know well before the 2 hour window if there is a prayer of the companion upgrade going through and whether it is worth dealing with it at that point. But at least you've increased the chances of someone getting the upgrade.

Yep. I've never been successful at a companion upgrade on CO because of it. I don't even try most of the time.
And remember, when Baglady Jr clears, it means Plus1 sits in the front. |

...Monitor, are we good to go for June 13th in FL?
Unfortunately, this damn recession is a pure pain in the butt. For the last six or eight years we just sat back, fat, dumb, and happy and needed to do very little to keep things on an even keel. But things have changed dramatically in the last six months and we are continually needing to put out fires and help out where help is needed. So we are having trouble making positive commitments more than a few weeks in advance but will make every effort to work around those two dates of May 30 and June 13. So let's find out how many would like to join us and then I will be able to find a suitable place depending on the size of the group. Even though it is off season, we will need a bit of lead time for a Saturday night. BTW, as usual, Marty had no chance on that first Carolina goal. |

Ha Ha I hope not , although I have many episodes on a hd pulled from my dvr.
I have been successful in burning CD from DVR content, but I'd rather go from DVR to HD in one step. |

Can you explain this one a little more? I don't understand how it works.

Let's make that one a definite. There is only an insignificant chance that we would be forced to leave town mid-month. Definitely more definite than we are right now for Shogun 27 which is still only highly probable.

I may or may not have car access on that trip - I wasn't planning on renting, but in a pinch I've got the Grandmamobile. Will PM you some details closer in to the date. We're flying down in the morning, so a dinner Mini-Do is perfect. |

Are you hinting that you and Plus1 may be in the area then?

(Are you bitter over the Islanders? They did get the #1 pick.) |

That's the plan. Where is Grandma's house? Unless it's in the 'glades we might be able to find something fairly close so you would not have a problem.
