I almost had a wonder reason to miss work tonight. The winds are up to 50mph gusts and the portable basketball hoop, in the driveway, fell over and just missed my car. It was actually touching my bumper.

So far every flight is arriving on time so I am not expecting any delays. I expect that catering is going to have a difficult time tonight since they can not lift their trucks up in any winds over 35mph. I have a funny feeling that I will be moving carts thru the boarding area to help with catering tonight.

Can't you pull duty on the leeward side of the terminal?

Close call! That happened to my neighbor, right onto the roof. On the positive side, the big dent distracted you away from the c:rolleyes::rolleyes:l bullet hole stickers he had on the car.

Perhaps you could call your husband and ask him if he could "show you how to move the catering carts on the plane in high wind situations?" He is the expert after all!

Hope the night goes well!

Pictures? Video? :p

None of us sang anything. The scene was fairly lame - the Brussels karaoke bar was an infinitely better atmosphere. At the AMS karaoke bar, there was nowhere to sit, the songs people were singing were mediocre, and the crowd was annoying. There was a severely drunken bachelorette party that was moderately entertaining, however. We stayed for a beer or two and moved on. The quiet Belgian beer bar in a residential neighborhood near the Marriott at which we began the evening was a much better experience.

I'm going to have to cancel my tickets to Rome in a couple weeks. I got confirmation this evening that I am now going to BDA instead. :D :D

Had I known over the weekend I would have been able to afford buying the DPS deal. :p
